My story
There are many qualified wedding officiants you can choose from. Hopefully by sharing my own story below, you'll get a better idea of my philosophy in helping couples plan their special day. I understand how important it is to ensure couples know all of their options, and I am here to guide you through the wedding process.
In 1979, my wife and I decided to get married. We had picked out a very special date for our wedding but unfortunately, our minister was not available. We decided that we really wanted this date, so we chose a local Justice of the Peace to perform the ceremony. Unfortunately, we were young and didn't know what elements we could include in our ceremony. More importantly, our JP never really spent the time to explain all of the options that were available to us. The good news is that we each said I DO that day and remain happily married to this day.
Fast forward to 2011. While riding my lawn tractor ( I do some of my best thinking then) the thought occurred to me that maybe I could become a Justice of the Peace. I like helping people and actually enjoy public speaking. Most importantly, I could ensure that the couples I work with would know all of their options to help them design their ceremony and make their wedding day as special as possible. Perhaps this was a way to Pay It Forward.....
So now you know my story!
I am now on my second 7 year appointment and continue to enjoy working with couples to plan and officiate their weddings. If I sound like someone you want to work with, then please feel free to contact me.
